Order in Council 535/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario the Lieutenant Governor in Council may make public appointments;

Whereas Guy Matte of Ottawa was reappointed as a part-time member and chair of the Provincial Advisory Committee on Francophone Affairs (the “Committee”) by Order in Council O.C. 763/2020 dated May 13, 2020;

Whereas the reappointment of Guy Matte to the Committee would expire on May 12, 2023;

Now therefore Guy Matte is reappointed at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council as a part time member and chair of the Committee.

And further that such reappointment is for a term not exceeding one year and is effective May 13, 2023.

And further that Guy Matte will be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses, including costs incurred for travel, meals and accommodation, in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet Directives and the rate established thereunder.

And further that Guy Matte will receive no remuneration for his services on behalf of the Committee.
