Order in Council 63/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas, pursuant to subsection 2.0.1 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. E.9, the Lieutenant Governor in Council may appoint, from among the members of the Executive Council, a committee to advise the Lieutenant Governor in Council on matters relating to emergencies;

And whereas that committee may from time to time require advice from other members of the Executive Council;

Now Therefore the permanent membership of the Cabinet Committee on Emergency Management be as follows:

• Premier and President of the Executive Council (Chair)
• President of the Treasury Board (Vice-Chair)
• Attorney General
• Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs
• Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services
• Minister of Energy
• Minister of Health and Long-Term Care
• Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation
• Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs
• Minister of Municipal Affairs
• Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry

And, where any situation or circumstance within the purview of the Committee falls within the mandate or statutory authority of a Member of the Executive Council not listed in this Order, that Member may be added to the Committee for such period considered appropriate by the Chair;

And, Order in Council OC-1081/2016, dated June 22, 2016, be revoked.
