Order in Council 645/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to Order In Council 643/2017, John Jensen was appointed as interim Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx effective April 17, 2017,

Pursuant to section 14(5) of the Metrolinx Act, S.O. 2006, c.16, John Jensen is hereby entitled to the following during the term of his appointment:

1. The equivalent of a monthly salary of $37,500, less applicable statutory deductions, which is an amount equal to $450,000 per annum and considered to be within the salary range applicable to the position.
2. Eligibility for participation in all applicable benefits programs that Metrolinx provides to its permanent staff, including the pension plan, and including any additions or changes to those programs made during the term of his appointment.
3. Reimbursement for travel and other necessary expenses incurred in the performance of the duties as Chief Executive Officer, in accordance with the Treasury Board of Cabinet Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expense Directive and other relevant directives, guidelines and policies.

This Order shall be effective April 17, 2017.
