Order in Council 650/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Advisory Panel for the Greater Toronto Area West Highway Corridor project (the “Advisory Panel”) was established by Order in Council 617/2016, dated April 20, 2016, for a period not exceeding one year from the date of the order;

And whereas the Government of Ontario wishes to extend the term of the Advisory Panel;

Therefore, pursuant to the Prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario to establish advisory bodies and to provide for the appointment of advisors to serve Her Majesty’s Government in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities:

Advisory Panel term extended

1. The term of the Advisory Panel is hereby extended until April 20, 2018.

Appointments continued

2. The members of the Advisory Panel, including the Chair, who have been appointed by the Minister of Transportation, shall continue to serve at the Minister’s pleasure, upon such terms as are determined by the Minister, for an additional period to expire on or before April 20, 2018.

Terms of reference

3. The terms of reference for the Advisory Panel are determined by the Minister of Transportation, and may be amended from time to time.

Remuneration

4. The Advisory Panel shall be paid such remuneration as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine.
