Order in Council 676/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to Order in Council O.C. 1928/2016 dated December 6, 2017, Bethune Whiston has been serving as a member of the Financial Services Tribunal (“Tribunal”);

Pursuant to subsection 4 (1) of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario Act, 1997 (“Act”),

Bethune Whiston, of Toronto, Ontario

be appointed Vice-Chair of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (and, by virtue of this appointment Vice-Chair of the Tribunal in accordance with subsection 6 (2) of the Act), for a term of two years effective the date of this Order.

Further that Order in Council O.C. 1928/2016 is hereby revoked.
