On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 4(2) of O. Reg. 498/06 made under the Civil Remedies Act, 2001 and subsection 3(2) of O. Reg. 236/03 made under the Prohibiting Profiting from Recounting Crimes Act, 2002, the per diem rate of remuneration of adjudicators appointed pursuant to subsection 4(1) of Ontario Regulation 498/06 and subsection 3(1) of Ontario Regulation 236/03 shall be as follows:

  • $423 effective April 1, 2016
  • $429 effective April 1, 2017
  • $463 effective July 1, 2017
  • $472 effective January 1, 2018

Further, the remuneration rate in effect January 1, 2018 is subject to adjustment in the same manner and concurrently with an adjustment, if any, which is effective on or after January 2, 2018, to the per diem rates applicable to persons appointed to hold office on a part-time basis as a member of an adjudicative tribunal as set out in O.C. 2311/2017 as amended from time to time.

And further, a person appointed as an adjudicator shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses in carrying out their duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

And further, Order in Council O.C. 423/2015 dated April 1, 2015 is revoked.
