Order in Council 720/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Ontario Trillium Foundation is subject to the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 and is required to update its governing documents to comply with the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010;

And Whereas the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trillium Foundation approved proposed Articles of Amendment on November 16, 2023, a copy of which is attached hereto, to amend the special provisions of the Letters Patent of the Ontario Trillium Foundation;

And Whereas the Letters Patent, as amended, of the Ontario Trillium Foundation stipulate that no application for supplementary letters patent may be made unless such application is first approved by the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And Whereas the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport is the minister responsible to the Legislature for the affairs of the Ontario Trillium Foundation;

Now Therefore the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby approves the Ontario Trillium Foundation filing the attached Articles of Amendment amending the Letters Patent with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery.
