Order in Council 765/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to sections 672.38(1) and 672.4(1) of the Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46, effective June 13, 2023

1. A person appointed as Chair of the Ontario Review Board on a full-time basis shall be compensated at the rate for a Chair set out in Table 1 of Schedule 2 to Order in Council O.C. 2310/2017, as may be amended from time to time.
2. A person appointed as Chair of the Ontario Review Board on a full-time basis shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
3. A person appointed as Chair of the Ontario Review Board on a full-time basis shall be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group and is entitled to elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan.
