Order in Council 768/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 4.1(2), 4.1(4) and 4.1(8) of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998,

Mark White, of Toronto,

be appointed as a part-time member and as part-time Chair of the board of directors of the Ontario Energy Board to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding two years commencing on the date of this Order.

And further, that during the term of this appointment as part-time Chair of the board of directors, Mark White is hereby entitled to the following remuneration:

1. Despite the limits set out in paragraph 1 a) of Order in Council O.C. 1312/2022 dated September 29, 2022, Mark White shall be entitled to be compensated at the rate of $1,250 per diem; and
2. Reimbursement for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out his duties on the board of directors in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet’s Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive.

This Order comes into effect the date this Order is made.
