Order in Council 786/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

The following Orders-in-Council are hereby revoked:

1. Order-in-Council 2543/89, designating Brookside Youth Centre, Cecil Facer Youth Centre, and Sprucedale Youth Centre as places of secure custody under the Young Offenders Act, R.S.C. 1985, c.Y-1, as amended.
2. Order-in-Council 1036/95, designating Maurice H. Genest Detention Centre for Youth as a place of secure custody under the Young Offenders Act, S.C. 1980-81-82-83, c.110.
3. Order-in-Council 2645/93, designating Near North Youth Facility as a place of secure custody under the Young Offenders Act, S.C. 1980-81-82-83, c.110.
4. Order-in-Council 2186/93, designating Pinegar Youth Centre as a place of secure custody under the Young Offenders Act, S.C. 1980-81-82-83, c.110.
5. Order-in-Council 2540/89, designating Thistletown Regional Centre, Syl Apps Campus, Cottages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 as a place of secure custody under the Young Offenders Act, R.S.C. 1985, c.Y-1, as amended.
6. Order-in-Council 526/91, designating The William W. Creighton Secure Detention and Custody Centre as a place of secure custody under the Young Offenders Act, S.C. 1980-81- 82-83, c.110.
7. Order-in-Council 1643/2003, designating 436 Rabbit Lake Road, Kenora, as a place of secure custody under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, S.C. 2002, c.1, in accordance with the Young Offenders Act, R.S.C., c.Y-1, and Order in Council 793/2003.
