Order in Council 798/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Resolute Growth Canada Inc./Croissance Résolu Canada Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada (the “Company”), wishes to continue to operate a forest resource processing facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario (the “Facility”);

And Whereas a Conditional Wood Supply Offer offered pursuant to Stage II of the Province of Ontario’s Wood Supply Competitive Process was assigned to the Company by agreement dated February 26, 2018 and as a result, Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry proposes to enter into an agreement with the Company for a supply of Crown forest resources to be made available for the Facility in accordance with sections 24 and 25 of the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994, S.O. 1994, c. 25 (the “CFSA”);

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 25(1) of the CFSA, the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry is hereby given approval to enter into the Supply Agreement numbered 536274 with the Company for a seven-year term for a supply of Crown forest resources, being an annual target volume of 221,000 cubic metres, to be made available to the Company for use at the Facility.
