Order in Council 8/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Jeanie Theoharis of Mississauga be appointed as full-time member and associate chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term of two years, effective the date this Order in Council is made.

Further, whereas Jeanie Theoharis was reappointed as part-time member and vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term effective August 31, 2021 and ending May 26, 2023, by Order in Council O.C. 989/2021;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Order in Council O.C. 989/2021 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
