Order in Council 831/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. The portions of highway in the Geographic Township of Van Horne (Unorganized), and the City of Dryden, Geographic Township of Van Horne, in the District of Kenora, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as Parts 1 and 2 on Ministry Plan P-8207-13, filed with the Record Service Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 6^th day of December 2023, be designated as secondary highway pursuant to section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. the designation as King’s Highway by Order in Council OC-1272/2010, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Kenora as Instrument KN36299, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portions of highway shown as Parts 1 and 2 on Ministry Plan P-8207-13 filed as described in section 1 above.
