Order in Council 832/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. The portions of highway in the Unsubdivided Geographic Townships of Yesno and Lahontan (Unorganized), in the District of Thunder Bay, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as Parts 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 on a Plan of Survey and Partially Compiled Plan of Location CL 16427, recorded as 100410 in Canada Lands Surveys Records, and deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Plan 55R-13416(Ministry Plan P-2832-45), be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P.50 as amended;
2. the portions of highway in the Unsubdivided Geographic Township of Lahontan (Unorganized), in the District of Thunder Bay, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as Parts 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 on a Plan of Survey of Location CL 16428, recorded as 100413 in Canada Lands Surveys Records, and deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Plan 55R-13422 (Ministry Plan P-2832-47), be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P.50 as amended; and
3. the designation as the King’s Highway by Order in Council dated 27^th February 1937, and shown on Ministry Preliminary Route Plan A-52-1 registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument LPA23109, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portions of highway closed as described in sections 1 and 2 above.
