Order in Council 886/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Minister of Health has recommended to the Lieutenant Governor in Council that a hospital supervisor be appointed for Renfrew Victoria Hospital under subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.40, as amended;

And whereas the Minister of Health has given the board of Renfrew Victoria Hospital at least 14 days notice before making such recommendation to the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And whereas, the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it in the public interest that a supervisor be appointed for Renfrew Victoria Hospital;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.40, as amended,

Altaf Stationwala

is hereby appointed as supervisor for Renfrew Victoria Hospital to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, effective as of the date this Order in Council is made;

And further, the supervisor shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine.

This appointment terminates on the earliest of July 31, 2025 and the date on which the Supervisor submits the final report to the Minister of Health.
