Order in Council 890/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. The portions of highway, in the City of Mississauga (Geographic Township of Toronto), Regional Municipality of Peel, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 on Ministry Plan P-3108-0465, filed with the Geomatics Central, of the Ministry of Transportation at Toronto on the 9th day of October, 2020, be designated as Controlled- Access Highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
2. The portions of highway, in the Towns of Milton and Halton Hills (Geographic Township of Trafalgar), Regional Municipality of Halton and in the City of Mississauga (Geographic Township of Trafalgar), Regional Municipality of Peel, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 1 to 16 (inclusive) on Ministry Plan P-3170-0160, filed with the Geomatics Central, of the Ministry of Transportation at Toronto on the 18th day of May, 2021, be designated as Controlled- Access Highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
3. The portions of highway, in the Town of Milton (Geographic Township of Esquesing), Regional Municipality of Halton, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 on Ministry Plan P-3171-0070 filed with the Geomatics Central, of the Ministry of Transportation at Toronto on the 8th day of October, 2020, be designated as Controlled-Access Highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
4. The designation as Controlled-Access Highway described Schedule 18 to Regulation 400, R.R.O. 1970, be amended so as to cease to apply within the limits of Part 11 on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-3171-0070.
