Order in Council 894/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portion of highway in the Geographic Township of Cairo (unsubdivided), in the Township of Matachewan, in the District of Timiskaming, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation and shown on Ministry Plan P-7368-4 filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeast Region of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on October 22, 2020, be designated or closed as described below:

1. Part 1 be designated as secondary highway pursuant to section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. Part 2 be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended.
