On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portion of highway in the geographic township of Merritt, in the Town of Espanola, District of Sudbury, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation and shown as PARTS 1 and 2 on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2302-74 filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeast Region of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on the 17th day of June 2021 be designated as described below:

  1. Parts 1 and 2 on Ministry Plan P-2302-74 be designated as the King’s Highway pursuant to section 7 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50 as amended; and
  2. the designation as a King’s Highway by order in council, OC-3499-59 effective October 8, 1959 and further designated as a control access highway by O. Reg. 5/60 effective January 5, 1960 and registered in the Land Registry Office for Land Titles Division of Sudbury as 157408(LT), shown on Ministry Plan P-2302-33, be amended so as to cease to apply to Part 1 on Ministry Plan P-2302-74; and
  3. the designation as a King’s Highway by order in council effective February 27, 1937 and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division and Land Titles Division of Sudbury as 128(RO) and 128(LT), shown on Ministry Plan A-51-3 and replaced by Ministry Plan P-2302-28, registered as 147214(LT), be amended so as to cease to apply to Part 2 on Ministry Plan P-2302-74.
