On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas title to certain lands are vested in Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Ontario and are under the jurisdiction and control of the Minister of Transportation, which lands are situated in the City of Cambridge, in the Geographic Township of Waterloo, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Province of Ontario, being,

Part of Lot 1, Beasley's Middle Block, Township of Waterloo (also known as Bricker Lot), Part of Lot 13, Concession 2, Beasley's Lower Block, Township of Waterloo and Part Lot 13, Concession 3, Beasley's Lower Block, Township of Waterloo, designated as Part 1, Plan 58R-20757, City of Cambridge, Regional Municipality of Waterloo (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-4120-53);

And whereas the subject lands are identified as necessary for the purposes of the construction of a detachment for the Ontario Provincial Police and are surplus to the highway needs of the Minister of Transportation, so that it is deemed expedient that the jurisdiction and control of the said lands be given to the Minister of Government and Consumer Services, who has agreed to accept the jurisdiction and control thereof for the said purpose;

Therefore, pursuant to Subsection 2(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and Subsection 9(1) of the Ministry of Infrastructure Act, 2011, S.O. 2011, c. 9, Sched. 27, as amended, and Order in Council O.C. 1152/2018 dated October 22, 2018, the jurisdiction and control of the above lands are hereby placed under the control of the Minister of Government and Consumer Services.
