Order in Council 930/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas T.L. (Tom) Foulds was appointed a full-time justice of the peace in and for the Province of Ontario, and designated as a non-presiding justice of the peace, effective July 12, 1999, by Order in Council O.C. 1066/99;

And whereas T.L. (Tom) Foulds was appointed a full-time justice of the peace in and for the Province of Ontario, and designated as a presiding justice of the peace, effective June 21, 2000, by Order in Council O.C. 1424/2000;

And whereas a hearing panel, after a hearing under section 11.1 of the Justices of the Peace Act, has recommended to the Attorney General that His Worship T.L. (Tom) Foulds be removed from office on the ground that he has become incapacitated or disabled from the due execution of his office by reason of conduct that is incompatible with the due execution of his office;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 11.2(1) of the Justices of the Peace Act, Orders in Council 1066/99 and 1424/2000 are revoked and His Worship T.L. (Tom) Foulds is removed from office.
