On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the City of London has a population in excess of 320,000 according to the last enumeration taken under section 15 of the Assessment Act, as amended;

And whereas subsection 27(9) of the Police Services Act, as amended, provides that the council of a municipality whose population according to the last enumeration taken under section 15 of the Assessment Act, as amended, exceeds 300,000 may apply to the Lieutenant Governor in Council for an increase in the size of its Police Services Board from five member to seven members;

And whereas the council of the City of London has made such an application;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 27(9) of the Police Services Act, as amended, the application made by the City of London is hereby approved and therefore the City of London Police Services Board shall consist of: the head of council or another council member appointed by resolution of council, two council members appointed by resolution of the council, one person appointed by resolution of the council who is neither a member of the council nor an employee of the City of London, and three persons appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
