Order in Council 969/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Steven Davidson

be appointed Secretary of the Cabinet, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding two years, effective the date of this Order;

And pursuant to subsection 9(2) of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006,

Steven Davidson

be appointed as a member of the Public Service Commission, for a term concurrent with his appointment as Secretary of the Cabinet, effective the date of this Order;

And further, subject to any limitations imposed by law, that Steven Davidson shall be paid an annual base salary of $406,375, which annual base salary is subject to adjustment by an amount equivalent to the applicable performance rating set out in a in-range movement program generally applicable to deputy ministers, if any, as amended from time to time;

And further, subject to any limitations imposed by law, that Steven Davidson shall be eligible for an annual lump sum pay-for-performance award to be determined in a manner consistent with a pay-for-performance program generally applicable to deputy ministers, if any, as amended from time to time;

And further that Order in Council O.C. 1/2019, dated January 17, 2019, be revoked effective the date of this Order.
