Order in Council 982/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Case Management Masters Remuneration Commission has been established under Order in Council O.C. 359/2012 (Order);

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 4(9) of that Order, the person appointed as Commissioner in respect of the Fourth Commission for the purposes of making judicial remuneration recommendations for the period starting April 1, 2024 and ending March 31, 2028 is entitled to the following remuneration:

1. To be paid at a rate of $290 per hour to a maximum of $2,900 per day for work carried out as Commissioner;
2. To be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties of the Commissioner in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
