Schedule A

Approved NEP Amendments

The following 4 site specific amendments are approved and the Niagara Escarpment Plan is amended as follows.

  • UA03: Applicant: Walker Environmental Group. Location: Part of Lots 43 and 44 Registered Plan 898, Geographic Township of Thorold, City of Thorold, Regional Municipality of Niagara; and Part of Lots 30, 31 and 49, Geographic Township of Stamford, City of Niagara Falls, Regional Municipality of Niagara.
    • The Niagara Escarpment Plan mapping is amended as shown on Map 1 to this Schedule.
  • UA15: Applicant: Hamilton Conservation Authority. Location: Part of Lot 1 Concession 7, Geographic Township of Barton, City of Hamilton.
    • The Niagara Escarpment Plan mapping is amended as shown on Map 2 to this Schedule.
  • UA24: Applicant: Penta International Corporation. Location: Part of Lots 7 and 8 and part of the road allowance between Lots 7 and 8, part of Horning Road (also known as Given Road also known as Applegarth Road,) in lots 7 and 8, Concession 2, Geographic Township of East Flamborough, City of Burlington, Regional Municipality of Halton.
    • The following new policy provision is added to section Part 2.2.17 of the NEP, as Part 2.2.17.1, as follows:
      Notwithstanding Part 2.7.2, Part 2.12.5, and Part 2.12.7 of this Plan, infrastructure and municipal servicing are permitted at , on lands designated as Escarpment Protection Area and Escarpment Natural Area within the North Aldershot Policy Area, on Map 3 of the Niagara Escarpment Plan.
  • UA60: Applicant: Town of South Bruce Peninsula. Location: Part of Lot A, Concession 24, and part of Water Lot 3, Town Plot of Wiarton, Geographic Township of Amabel, Town of South Bruce Peninsula, County of Bruce.
    • The Niagara Escarpment Plan mapping is amended as shown on Map 3 to this Schedule.

Re-designate the Amendment Area (approximately 56.5 ha) from Mineral Resource Extraction Area to Urban Area)

Schedule A Map 2 showing Amendment UA 15.
Re-designate the Amendment Area (approximately 1.2 ha) from Escarpment Protection Area to Urban Area and exclude the lands from the Niagara Escarpment Parks and Open Space System.

Schedule A Map 3 showing Amendment UA 60.
Re-designate the Amendment Area (six lots totalling approximately 1.8 ha) from Escarpment Natural Area to Urban Area.
