Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017

We, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, name,

  1. July 1, 2018 as the day on which the following provisions of the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017, c. 33 come into force:
    Schedule 3, s. 1-37 (the Ticket Sales Act, 2017).
  2. July 1, 2018 as the day on which the following provision of the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017, c. 33, which amends the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, comes into force:
    Schedule 3, s. 38.
  3. July 1, 2018 as the day on which the following provision of the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017, c. 33, which repeals the Ticket Speculation Act, comes into force:
    Schedule 3, s. 39.
  4. July 1, 2018 as the day on which the following provision of the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017, c. 33, which revokes O. Reg. 151/15 (Exemptions), made under the Ticket Speculation Act, comes into force:
    Schedule 3, s. 40.
