Revocation of Appointment
Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Park

Pursuant to my powers under sections 49 and 54 of the Legislation Act, 2006 to amend, revoke or replace from time to time an appointment and, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, I revoke as of July 1, 2022 the appointment made by the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks under paragraph 2 of subsection 5 (1) of the EPA on January 14, 2021, and approved by the Lieutenant Governor in Council by Order in Council 98/2021 on January 28, 2021, of three staff positions at the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) as Director for O. Reg. 457/19 (Vehicle Emissions) under the Environmental Protection Act (EPA) to assume oversight for the heavy diesel commercial motor vehicle emissions inspection program.

The appointments are spent as of July 1, 2022 when O. Reg. 457/19 is revoked in its entirety and responsibility for the heavy diesel commercial motor vehicle emissions inspection program is transferred to MTO.
