As communicated in INFOBulletin 240403, the Ministry of Health (ministry) is upgrading to a more modern and secure identification and access management service. Government of Ontario (GO) Secure is being replaced by OPS BPS Secure (Ontario Public Service Broader Public Service Secure).

The OPS BPS Secure login screen and landing page used for accessing the Medical Claims Electronic Data Transfer (MCEDT), eSubmit and Special Authorization Digital Information Exchange (SADIE) services will have a new look and feel. You will also see improvements to the registration and password reset processes. Below are some of the changes you can expect.

  • A fresh, modern and more secure application.
  • New and improved registration process with no more security questions to remember. Simply fill in the form to register as a new user. A one-time pin (OTP) will be sent to your email address to verify your email and you’re ready to go.
  • Quick and easy password reset/update process that uses the OTP sent to your email address.

Note: It is important to ensure you have access to the email account you registered your GO Secure account with. This account and your profiles will be automatically transferred to OPS BPS Secure when the migration occurs.
The ministry is working to have the OPS BPS Secure migration completed in summer 2024. Additional communications will follow as the go live date gets closer.
