Overview
As per previous INFOBulletins 240403 and 240507, Government of Ontario (GO) Secure is being replaced by OPS BPS Secure (Ontario Public Service Broader Public Service Secure), a new identification and access management service, to enhance security and modernize the system.
Migration date
OPS BPS Secure is expected to go live on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Transitioning accounts
Current GO Secure accounts created prior to August 18, 2024 are expected to be migrated to the new OPS BPS Secure system.
You do not need to take any action.
Important notice
- Email Access: It is crucial that you have access to the email linked to your GO Secure account. This email will be necessary to receive a one-time pin for:
- forgotten passwords
- password changes
- profile updates including email address changes
- Updating your email: If the email associated with your GO Secure account is no longer accessible, please update it to an active email address you can access. Instructions to do this can be found in the “Changing your GO Secure User ID and Email Account” document
