Order in Council 1541/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 395/2020, dated March 5, 2020, The Honourable Edward Then is appointed as a part-time member of the Death Investigation Oversight Council;

And whereas it is desirable to designate The Honourable Edward Then as the part-time Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 8(3) of the Coroners Act, as amended, The Honourable Edward Then is hereby designated as the part-time Chair of the Death Investigation Oversight Council, effective from January 8, 2021.
