Order in Council 1959/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 16(2) of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act, subsection 6(2) of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, Karen R. Restoule of Dokis First Nation be appointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Animal Care Review Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Ontario Civilian Police Commission and the Mining and Lands Tribunal for a fixed term effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending April 4, 2022.

Further, whereas Karen R. Restoule was appointed as part-time member of the Animal Care Review Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Ontario Civilian Police Commission for a fixed term ending December 31, 2019, by Orders in Council O.C. 466/2019, 467/2019, 468/2019 and 469/2019

Therefore, pursuant to clause 77(a) of the Legislation Act, 2006, Orders in Council O.C. 466/2019, 467/2019, 468/2019 and 469/2019 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
