On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council O.C. 2428/2017, dated December 14, 2017, the office of Legislative Reviewer of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act was established to undertake a comprehensive review of the effectiveness of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and its regulation in accordance with the Terms of Reference that are to be provided by the Minister Responsible for Accessibility.

Pursuant to subsection 41(5) of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005,

The Honourable David C. Onley of Toronto, Ontario

be appointed Legislative Reviewer of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act to undertake a comprehensive review of the effectiveness of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and its regulation in accordance with the Terms of Reference that the Minister Responsible for Accessibility provides to the Legislative Reviewer.

This appointment is effective from the date of this Order in Council and shall continue at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period ending not later than December 31, 2018.
