Order in Council 26/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act, subsection 24(1) of the Ontario Heritage Act, subsection 1(2) of the Environmental Review Tribunal Act, 2000, subsection 3(1) of the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Act, 2017, subsections 333(2) and 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, subsection 3(1) of the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act, subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code, subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, subsection 57(1.1) of the Education Act, subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997, subsection 16(2) of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997, subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999, subsection 32(2) of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, D. Stephen Jovanovic of Windsor be appointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Assessment Review Board, the Conservation Review Board, the Environmental Review Tribunal, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, the Child and Family Services Review Board, the Custody Review Board, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (English), the Ontario Special Education Tribunal (French), the Social Benefits Tribunal, the Animal Care Review Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the Ontario Parole Board for a fixed term effective the date this Order in Council is made and ending January 10, 2022.

Further, whereas D. Stephen Jovanovic was appointed as part-time member of the Animal Care Review Board, the Fire Safety Commission, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Ontario Parole Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario by Orders in Council O.C. 5/2017, 6/2017, 7/2017, 8/2017 and 420/2019;

Therefore, pursuant to clause 77(a) of the Legislation Act, 2006, Orders in Council O.C. 5/2017, 6/2017, 7/2017, 8/2017 and 420/2019 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
