Order in Council 4/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas D. Stephen Jovanovic was appointed full-time member and Associate Chair of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission by Order in Council 3/2017 dated January 11, 2017;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009,

D. Stephen Jovanovic be paid an annual remuneration of $146,700.

Further, D. Stephen Jovanovic shall be eligible for benefits, excluding pension, in accordance with the benefit entitlements of the Senior Management Group of the Ontario Public Service;

Further, D. Stephen Jovanovic may elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan. If he declines to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan, he shall not be entitled to compensation in lieu of participation in the Plan;

And further, D. Stephen Jovanovic shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
