Order in Council 515/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas in its response to the First Case Management Masters Remuneration Commission, the Government decided to establish a non-registered supplemental pension plan to provide pension benefits to Case Management Masters in addition to those provided by the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) set out in Schedule 1 under the Public Service Pension Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 48 (PSPA);

Therefore pursuant to section 6.01 of the PSPA,

1. A supplemental pension plan for Case Management Masters be established in the form attached as Schedule 1 to this Order in Council (“CMM Supplemental Plan”); and
2. All conditions, terms and rules that apply and options that are available under the PSPP for the payment of, eligibility for and entitlement to a pension, or other payment under the PSPP, shall apply to the payment of, eligibility for and entitlement to supplemental pension benefits under the CMM Supplemental Plan, except for any modifications necessary because of the existence of the CMM Supplemental Plan.

Schedule 1: Case Management Masters Supplemental Pension Plan
