In accordance with Order-in-Council 359/2012, the Report of the Second and Third Case Management Masters’ Remuneration Commissions dated October 30, 2017 was submitted to the Lieutenant Governor in Council (LGIC). In the Report, the Commissioner accepted the joint recommendations made by the Government and the Masters’ Association of Ontario.
The LGIC has given full consideration to the recommendations set out in the Report and I am writing to convey to you the LGIC’s response to those recommendations. The LGIC accepts the Commission’s recommendation to implement the terms of the joint submission.
The Government continues to value the work of Case Management Masters and recognizes that they are an integral part of the Ontario judicial system.
The Government wishes to thank the Commissioner for his report and for carrying out this important work.
