2.0 Specified perils

  • 2.1 This specified perils for all Insurance Plans covered by this Operational Document are set out in the Contract of Insurance — General Terms and Commodity-Specific Terms.

3.0 General

  • 3.1 The details of the Insurance Plans are set out in the Contract of Insurance — General Terms and Commodity-Specific Terms, which are incorporated into and become part of the AgriInsurance Agreement.

4.0 Loss determination for Yield-Based Coverage and Non-Yield-Based Coverage Plans

  • 4.1 Details related to the procedures and measures used to determine the guaranteed production, losses and quality losses are set out in the Provincial Act and the following documents:
    • Contract of Insurance — general Terms and Commodity-Specific Terms
    • Standard Field Procedures Manuals
    • Actuarial Certification of Probable Yield Methodologies (2018), prepared by Denise Cheung, FCIA, FCAS of IAO Actuarial Consulting Services, Aon Reed Stenhouse Inc., dated March 12, 2019.
  • 4.2 Loss determination and claim payment procedures are set out in the Standard Field Procedures Manuals.
